E2E ARSENAL COACHING
Course content and activities: This course is run in partnership with Arsenal Football Club. It offers young people a foundation in Sports Coaching and Activity Leadership. Learners undertake training in football coaching and other sports activities and have a chance to achieve the FA level 1 coaching award.,
Course location: Springboard Islington, 97-101 Seven Sisters Road, London N7 7QP.
Entry Requirements: No formal qualifications are required. However, learners need, as a minimum to be competent to Entry Level 3 in Literacy and Numeracy. They must also demonstrate a genuine interest in sports activity and coaching and ideally have some previous experience of involvement in sport.
Additional support available: Functional Skills English, Mathematics and ICT, Dyslexia support, Personal and Social Development, Mentoring, Guidance and Jobsearch.
Course duration: The period of time learners spend n the course is based on their identified needs. The maximum length of stay is 40 weeks.
Recruitment process: Information sessions are held every Monday and Wednesday afternoon at the Springboard Islington Seven Sisters Road centre. Young people who wish to join the E2E programme then undertake and initial assessment to identify any needs they may have after which they receive an induction.
